Recently, technical personnel from Tianjin Ruicheng Pump Industry Co., Ltd. visited the Shandong Large Ethylene Project site to conduct a follow-up inspection of the bottom-of-reactor pumps previously installed for the project, with a focus on understanding the equipment’s operational performance under actual operating conditions.
The production process for this project involves the conveyance of high-temperature, high-pressure materials, and the site imposes stringent requirements on the continuity and stability of bottom-of-reactor discharge, as well as pipeline connections. Based on the project’s operational requirements, Ruicheng Pump Industry supplied bottom-of-reactor pumps for material discharge from the bottom of the reactor, pressurized conveyance, and integration with subsequent process stages.
During the follow-up visit, the technical staff inspected the installation location of the bottom-of-reactor pumps, pipeline connections, heating system, seal condition, operational noise levels, and pressure fluctuations, and discussed feedback on equipment usage with on-site operators. The client reported that since the equipment was put into operation, its overall performance has been stable and it has been able to meet the discharge and conveyance requirements of the current process stage.
Based on the on-site operating conditions, Ruicheng Pump Industry’s technical staff also provided recommendations for routine maintenance: During operation of the bottom-of-reactor pumps, special attention should be paid to material temperature, inlet feed conditions, outlet pressure, motor load, and changes in the sealing areas. If pressure fluctuations, unstable discharge, or abnormal noises occur, a comprehensive troubleshooting process should be conducted, taking into account the material state, pipeline valves, temperature control system, and pump operation.
This follow-up visit to the Shandong Large Ethylene Project allowed Ruicheng Pump Industry to gain a deeper understanding of the practical application of bottom-of-reactor pumps at large-scale project sites, while also accumulating on-site experience for future equipment optimization and service support. Moving forward, Tianjin Ruicheng Pump Industry will continue to focus on products such as bottom-of-reactor pumps, melt pumps, and pipeline booster pumps to provide equipment and technical support for the conveyance of high-temperature, high-viscosity materials.
